Savings Bank Account

This is one of the easiest savings options. Any person (including nominal members) can start an account by remitting Rs.100/- with least paper works. Also provides cheque facility for easy transactions.

ELIGIBILITY

Individuals, Joint accounts, Minor accounts, Trusts, Executors and Administrators, Govt. bodies, Semi-Government Departments, Non-Corporate bodies viz. Clubs, Societies, Associations, Schools etc

REQUIREMENTS FOR OPENING ACCOUNT

Application in the Banks’ prescribed form, Proof of identity, Address proof, Passport size photograph.

PERIODICITY OF INTEREST PAYMENT

Interest is payable half-yearly, in every March and September on minimum balance maintained in the account between 10th and 30th day of every month

Proof of identity and address - the following documents will be acceptable (for individuals):
