General Aspects

Employees’ Co-operative societies belong to the category of Non-Agricultural credit societies. This type of societies organized among salaried class particularly in the fixed income groups to remove them from the clutches of unscrupulous creditors by providing the alternative honest source of credit. The main objective of the society is to promote thrift and savings among the employees and to provide credit facilities to them. A class membership is opened and allowed to confirmed employees only and membership is terminated at the moment of retirement and withdrawal of share there after.
